The simplicity of life

Hey guys...
when asked " What do u guys do or where do u guys hang out, now that u r married?"
We paused to think.....and..... we don't really have much to comment. It's really individual i guess...
For us, what we would normally do are simple things like, going over to my MIL's place, check out if my BIL and SIL have any plans or basically just staying home , playing PS3 with hubby and Fiq. That is just wat we did this whole week... watched movie on thursday night....except for last night....
Decided to meet up Rasyidah (Kak Ngoi's Fren), as we were both bored , not knowing what to do or where to hang out. It was a simple , more of a get to know session for me and Syidah as last night was our first meet up since Abg Yea and Kak Ngoi's wedding thingy. It was fun. I enjoyed myself chit chatting with her(hoped u did too Syidah) and knowing that she is a simple person who enjoys moderate company, nothing heavy.... humph!!!! that's me too alright...Well, Ladly and Fiq joined us too, eventually!!! Thanks for the company Rasyidah... We all have fun... Its was nice getting to know u a little bit more... We will plan more of such outings in the near future okie...!
Thank you Ladly for making the effort to make this very day possible.... U always have yr ways to make every single day of our life a memorable one... Yr smile, gestures just simply blows me away.... Once again Thank you...
I'll cook chicken rice as a reward today okie...!!!

Weeks after weeks of thinking and understanding

Going thru a day without having to worry or wonder abt nothing is indeed inevitable.... haih...
How i wish i was a kid again.... No need to worry abt bills, household.... etc. But god gave me a gift, something that is so right for me. Something that fits the character "ME" therefore i feel so blessed eventhough i had to go thru moments where sadness fills my eyes. I'm not saying that I'm easily contented but what god already gave me are recipes to a happier life. How much or how little of each ingredient needed be added, it's all up to me.....
Last weekend , celebrated my MIL's birthday at our place, Relatives were invited. I cooked up a spread ....
1)Nasi Lemak
2)Sambal Tumis Ikan Bilis with Telur Burung
3)Oyster Chicken
4)Homemade Garlic Bread
5)Beef Bolo
Not for getting everybody had dessert which is "Walnut Choc Loaf with Ice Cream"!!!
Everyone was happy that day, especially myself as all the food that was cooked turned out fine and most importantly edible... ahhahah! The day ends well. I sure do hope my MIL was happy with what was presented. Well that was the weekend.
The new week starts.Been doing a lot of info searching for Syafiq's Sec stream. I just want the best that suits him well. Nobody says it's gonna be easy but if we don't try, we won't know. Me and Ladly will also be taking our O's next year. Wish us luck!!!
So much to think abt and do and yet so little time left..... I wish there was more i could do.
Ladly if u read this, this is what i have to say.
My journey with you this far has been amazing. U have been there with me thru thick and thin, standing by my side, giving the strength and purpose to move on regardless what. U r a true pillar, like the one that i have always imagined to have, who never accepts failure as a setback and never take no for an answer. The endless effort to find the true definition of a "Happy Family" has always been yr motto. There is no 'what ifs' on yr thoughts. U r always certain of yr decisions regardlessly and u r a natural when it comes to fatherly values. U embrace me to fullfill my roles as a wife to u and a mother to Syafiq and our kids in the near future, whole heartedly. The way u confute everybody.... u amazed everyone!!! U stood firm and accepted that everyone has a past, a present and also most definitely a future. And u r the reason who i am today. U r my present and my future. Ladly, I could have never done it without you and i thank u for that.... Baby, u r everything that i could ask for. I wanna grow old with u as we have so many amazing and exciting stories to tell our children and our grandchildren.... Love you always....

Swimming and Soccer Game Day!!!!

29th Nov 2009

Today, the boys (Syafiq & Rifqi) really had the time of their life... They had Monopoly session till late nite last night, Went for a swim in the afternoon then had a short soccer game in the evening. As for me, I had very little to do today so I'm simply enjoying the lazy day today... Me and Ladly accompanied the boys for their soccer game. Ladly joined the kids. Amazingly, the tiny tiny kids super zippy!!! They dribble the ball across the field like the FLASH!!! Hahhah! I had fun snapping photos of Ladly and the kids.
After the game, went back to rest and have din din... I cooked up a simple meal for the 3 of us.... Nasi goreng kampung with ikan bilis and smoked sausage and fried egg... Simply yet appetizing!!!
Had our fried rice while watching Liverpool vs Everton match. Score 2 - 0!!!!
Went to Kambing's house for poker session after the match.... and at this point, I'm still at Kambing's house!!! Should be leaving soon, I think? Have lots to do tomorrow... Hopefully we have ample time for all our errands tomorrow. Syafiq is a bit bored already sitting beside me, i guess that's all for now... wanna let him use the lappy!!!
*Smiles*

My could not hold back my tears of joy! I hugged him over and over again.... It's like an achievement for us as parents. He has made me see that he is all grown up and not that whiny baby boy..... I am so happy for him and i do hope he remains as hardworking when he goes to sec sch, mixing with the correct company, etc...
"Even though I know i did not show u enough love, But deep down inside, I really do love u Syafiq! U have always been my strength...."

From The Beginning

Thanks Kak Siti for the Kick off!!!!
Well.... As u said " the rest is history..." well not exactly true...
Every good and bad moments are still fresh our minds....
Our 1st date was at the prawning pond with the kiddo. The next date was having seafood at my favourite place, East Coast, which we practically sat totally apart from each other... But this is the very day where all the 'Magic' starts. After the meal we wanted to catch a movie but there wasn't any good ones. So, not knowing where else to go next we went to Adam Road. Got ourselves hot tea then went to MacRitche reservoir to chill. At Abt 3am, drove home. Parked the car and chatted for awhile in the car...
"I have not met someone so gentlemen for the longest time..."
He sent me home and hugged me at my door! He left me smiling as i entered my door. It was like 5 plus in the morning already. I had to shower and get ready for work, when suddenly i heard a txt message tone. It was a txt message from Shaz...!!! He doesn't have his home keys and his mom already left for work so he had to wait up for his brother to come back from his night shift. Well , I immediately volunteered to accompany 'Mr Nice Guy' till his bro is home.
While I was getting ready , he waited for me at my level's staircase. We just sat in the car and chat to past time.... And trust me.... When u r enjoying the moment, time sure passes fast!
I reached out my hand to give him the palm massage and he said......
"This feels good.... What did I do to deserve this?"
Well , I just kept silent, smiled and said" Everybody deserved to feel good at 1 point or another."...
Hahhaha! the events following that very day just brings us closer to each other from then on..... and it is till today...
Despite all the wrong decisions making eg. Keeping dogs as pets... The love we have just brought us closer and stronger. We have been thru bad times where we hardly have enough to even buy ciggies or go for outings, no joke!!!! Haih!! But there r happy times like prawning, having frens over for makan... and many more.
Come to think of it, we had all the advantage of experiencing what it's like to live under 1 roof even before we got married, and that was just part of the test. Then again, i guessed all that made us a wonderful couple together . I then slowly..., but surely, learned to open and share my feelings with my spouse as I realised it is really important to make him understand me though I'm not used to it at the beginning.
There u have it ... The Beginning of everything....
I'll be back for more updates!!!
Now going out for makan with my BIL and SIL.... Ciao!
p/s: Attached is our first photo together.... unofficial...

Our love story

Hello guys! Welcome to Enok's and Ladly's virgin blog after 8 months of being blissfully married. Wonder how it all happened? Read on as Siti brings you the scoop live from Orchid Country Club....

"It's Shaz, from last night..." That was the first text msg that Enok received from Ladly the day after they met. At Butter Factory to be exact, after a wild night of partying. :)

But no, it's not what you're thinking. In fact, as paradoxical as it sounds, the two had their first deep conversation while nursing each other after having had a little too much to drink. With one being a single parent, and the other having been brought up by a single mum, they were able to relate to each other almost at hello.

The first few dates were unconventional to say the least. McDonalds with the kiddo, grocery shopping at McDonalds' etc. Not to mention the spontaneity that kept the couple hot on their heels - a dog purchase that triggered off minutes after mere revelation that "I've always wanted a dog", and of course not forgetting THE big proposal, just three weeks into their courtship!

The two were just engaging in a casual conversation when he said, "If we have enough, let's get married." Never mind the lack of diamonds, flowers and the works. As the couple puts it, they found in each other what they couldn't find in themselves and that alone, had set them off on a solid standing. Yes, of course she had to say yes, with tears of joy in her eyes. Duh!

The rest is well…history. And may this blog help them document their 8-month (and counting) journey as husband and wife.

P.S.: Now we start the blog for you already, you better start writing!

Love,

Your bro & sis
